New Memberships

As of the summer of 2025, the waitlist has been opened to the public.

The club New Member/RSO Training Course is run several times a year and with small class size to ensure all new members receive one on one introduction to the club and its policies and safety rules. Following completion of the New Member/RSO Training Course, 5 safe shoot sign offs, 6 months probation and 3 RSO sessions, you will be allowed to bring guests and shoot by yourself.

Each member must hold a current and valid firearms license - Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). Each firearm brought to the club must be licensed according to the laws of Canada..

Annual Dues

The membership year runs from Nov 1st through to Oct 31st. Current membership dues is $350 per annum including tax.

There is a $25 deposit for a gate card which will be refunded upon surrender. This deposit will be added to your New Membership registration fee. New members who join after October 31st in any year will have their membership dues calculated according to the month in which they join.

Membership fees must be paid online at the club website using Visa or Mastercard. 

Associate Members

Associate membership is available for certain qualifying individuals; family members under the age of 18 and/or spouses living in the same household.

Associate member dues is $65 at all times irrespective of the month that they join. Associate members cannot vote in elections nor stand for a board position.

Membership in the Canadian Shooting Sports Association

Each member and associate member of GRGC must be a paid up member of the CSSA. CSSA membership provides both the member and the club with insurance coverage. The current fee for CSSA is $45 per annum and will be added to your club membership dues. Should you have a lifetime membership or paid membership through another club you must email membership@grgc.ca before GRGC membership renewal. 

Probation

All new members starting in May of 2025 are probationary until they complete 5 safe shoots and are members in good standing for 6 months.. During this probationary period you are not eligible to bring guests to the club. More information on this subject will be presented at the New Member/RSO training course.

There is a $150 fee for the New Member/RSO training course . The Safety Course usually begins at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday and should be completed by late afternoon with a break for lunch. A lunch is provided by the club.
